Approaching Peril

Hello everyone! I'm back with a new planet! (Finally)
This one took a lot of work, and I'm proud of the results, especially my first attempt at a nebula. (Nebula tutorial link: [link] )

Please offer critisism! Oh, and I made up a little description of the planet and a story to go along with the image!

Planet: Ijaak II
Planet population: 0
Moon population: 30
Planetary status: Inhabitable
Terrain: Largely volcanic and desert
Yearly precipitation: None
Planetary resources: Titanium, volcanic rock
Equatorial diameter: 210,500 kilometers
Star System: Tethkor (Located on the edge of wild space)

From deep within space emerges large sections of planet debris, their edges jagged from a cataclysmic event. As the gravity of the Tethkor system catches the rubble in its powerful grasp, the researchers on Ijaak II’s habitable moon grow concerned. It is unknown where these fragments originated, and how they travelled so far to the Tethkor system, one of the most remote star systems in the known galaxy. A fleet of small research space cruisers are prepared to be launched, with curious and eager scientists on board, waiting to examine the planet rubble in more depth.
